Owen is a passionate and skilled cinematographer who possesses the visual instinct and creative intuition to precisely capture the spirit of the projects he photographs. He consistently pushes past personal and technical boundaries to achieve striking and distinctive imagery. From narrative and music videos to commercials and documentary, he approaches each new challenge with zeal.

Creative collaboration is at the heart of filmmaking, and the image must always seek to express the essence of what is being filmed. Working under these two axioms, Owen has continually delivered above and beyond the expectations of given productions.

His work has been screened in festivals across the United States, Europe and Asia, garnering various accolades and playing at venues such as Cannes and the New York International film festival. In 2007 and 2009 films he photographed were subsequently awarded grants from the National Board of Review for their outstanding narrative and visual qualities.

He has worked within the United States and Internationally
and holds duel American and Irish citizenship;
allowing him to work on both sides of the Atlantic.

He currently resides in Brooklyn.
